Spring brings..?

A quick spring update on this last quarter…. Time seems to travel so fast...
We had a busy month away in Kenya - and the school was looking absolutely fantastic. We had two fabulous volunteers in Anna and Mabel, and we welcome Jenny who is working at Bluebells one day a week, whilst she also completes some studying and various other projects she's kindly doing for HHA.
During the Christmas holidays there was a lot of 'structural' work done behind the scenes - which included necessary (but boring) replastering, repainting some areas and the re-aligning of some concrete poles; mending of basins, water tanks and the pump to the bore hole. All essential maintenance to the up-keep of the school.
I loved showing various visitors around and were thrilled to have my son and daughter in law out visiting as well as my youngest daughter. A great photo of 3 generations of ‘BBells’ with my mother, me and Lucy with Mwana and they could not get over the changes and improvement since they had last visited. I feel very confident that the school is in great shape under the watchful eye of Mwana. They've been a couple of additions to the teaching staff - and they are all so very welcome.
Our tailors, too, are all well and thriving and once again, we've been able to help them all with the education of their own children this year. Without them Bushbells would be nothing.
Do remember - if you ever need anything made and don't mind the wait (depends on shipping) you can request what you want .... that's the joy of having a small team.
Meantime, keep your eyes peeled for a new collection that we're launching soon.....Take a sneak peek at a photo below.

As ever, thanks to you for all your support - we'd be nothing without YOU.
