Our FABULOUS New Library
“A room without books is like a like a body without a soul”
For those of you who have been following me for a while - last week was a big day at Bluebells School with the opening of our NEW library - called THE PALACE LIBRARY - which a few months ago, was just a dream.
We have so many people to thank:
Jemma L for all her incredible energy and enthusiasm from walking to fundraising, to galvanising book collections AND then getting them all shipped out to Kenya;
Minnie & Clem D for all their brilliant fundraising and walking, and for having the idea and kickstarting that fundraising campaign;
- Our incredible volunteers Saskia M, Katherine J, Luli L , Alice D and Marnie D - for all their magical murals, painting, energy and bringing the whole thing to life.
- To my gorgeous friend Sooz, for her 'old' windows - making fabulous new ones for the library.
And our thanks too, to many other kind donors behind the scenes, including Stephen B and Sherborne School and Harry J - and his support from Eton College.

What a wonderful enterprise, you are clearly making an enormous impact on so many peoples lives, from the children learning to read to the skilled craftsmen and tailors who make your products. I would always prefer to buy something from a business like Bushbells, knowing and seeing the direct social impact you are giving to so many local families. Oh and by the way – They have always been my sons favourite shorts (for years) and also Great customer service too – when I got my order in a muddle! Thank you.
It has been a pleasure to get to know and work with Jax, alongside learning more about the amazing work of Bushbells. The belts were fantastic and hugely popular amongst the boys thanks to the skilled bead workers who created them. Congratulations on setting up the library which I know will shape the lives of so many young children. I hope to visit the school and volunteer there one day!
